This auction is for a metal hook that I believe to be brushed silver. It has considerable weight considering its size. I'm guessing it would be fastened to the wall, or cabinet by screws or nails (not included) in the two holes below the teapot. I suppose it could be used to hang potholders on, or a decorative towel...I don't know, not really my forte.
