The listing, Jungle and Rainforest: 67" (two strands) of natural gemstones has ended.
I purchased these strands in Hawaii. But not on a tourist vacation! My mom has long lived there, and is now in a nursing home. Last year, when I was able to visit, I went happily to my favorite gemstone bead shop there and was horrified to see it was going out of business.
It was very, very sad. I had always loved the quality of their stones - including the ones I couldn't afford! LOL
On this trip, however, the "Going Out of Business" sale made it possible for me to purchase stones of a slightly higher quality than normal for me, as well as a somewhat larger quantity.
Up for auction, here, are two strands (67-68 inches total; see photo) in the rich, intense hues of jungle and rainforest. I was (and still am) very impressed by the color tones, since they were sold to me as "natural" gemstones (not dyed or in any other way "enhanced").
Some of the stones I see in these strands include an abundance of quartz (clear and other colors); tiger's eye; many shades of green aventurine -and many jaspers, including green-and-white (ocean?) jasper, painted jasper, and leopard-skin jasper.
When I bought the strands, I believed the reddish stones to be Carnelian; I thought I saw various agates; and I was suspected that some of the brighter of the dark-green stones might be malachite.
But it's one thing to name stones for yourself as a "buyer," and quite another to make guarantees as a seller! So, I'll just leave those observations at that!
These two strands also seemed unusual to me in that so many of the chips (perhaps 40%?) were variegated in color: not just green, or brown or red or yellow or clear -- but individually multicolored, with stripes ,patterns and, in a few cases (I swear to God!) polka-dots.
The photos you are looking were not color-adjusted in any way.
