The listing, Rolex watch has ended.
Let me start by saying I am pretty sure this is a genuine Rolex, I tried to take good pics of all the markings. It was a gift long ago and it stopped working 3 yrs ago and has just been sitting in my jewelry box. I have out grown the style, but its still nice and worth fixing. Happy bidding!
Questions & Comments
Would you pretty please take a picture of the case back? Thanks :)
I don't know what's wrong with it, there is no battery so i think some kind of mechanism inside,I'm sure a watch dealer could fix, but I'm not gonna fix somethin I'm not gonna wear.
Beautiful watch. I asked for the pictures of the case back because Rolex hasn't really ever made a skeleton (glass/sapphire) case back. Mostly it is just the metal with no writing or inscription on the back. I'm not sure of the authenticity, but a very beautiful watch regardless.
Welcome again, in fact I wished you would have had a gin, I would have had it long ago.....someone who tells the truth is so rare now i would buy it just for that. charles105
my husband does watch repair for a living. he told me you can not order a back to a rolex watch as the registeration number is on the back of the cover and on file. just an fyi
Still trying to find it, I took it off the day it stopped working, thought I put all the pieces back in the jewelry box, or my son got in it. Hope I find it.
rather its fake or real it is still a good auction why do you have to hate on someone who is telling the truth the person who got this watch got it as a gift and if you have any respect for the person giveing you a gift you don't need to look at the worth of it just the fact that it was a gift besides I wouldent mind fronting like a rich man wearing something that is as nice as this peice
So all has been said May i please have you tell me can the watch be fixed Ive always wanted a rolex i guess just that i can say i have one .I would very much like this watch I dont care about any thing but it can be fixed cuz i would like to wear a rolex that worked An d show it offf PLEASE LET ME KNOW KK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welp, I'm learning that the back case cannot be replaced, I haven't given up looking for it. So, I don't know for sure. Maybe it can be fitted with another back case?
my husband did a little more research on where the registery number would be. on the watch casing at the 12 and 6 where the watch bands are. look there to see if a number is there.
Yeah I didn't expect to get grilled for something I was giving away. I begged thought to question myself...trusting I guess. Still, its fun for me. I'm all good.
I just reread the post about the #s there are some where the watchband are and down at the six on the watchface, too small for me to see. Hope that helps.
Well thank u! i heard that there r serial numbers inside rolex-u can google them or a jeweler will recognize them-...oh just read above message- never mind if u can't read them. well...afn!
nice auction let me say if this is a knockoff it is still a 300.00 watch I know I have one! If it real the only problem I see is the cost of fixing it. My roommate has a real one that cost her $1000 to fix and refurbish. Now her issue was with the setting of the watch so I'm sure each issue is different. Great auction and worth bidding
if this real it would be outrageously expensive to fix because it doesnt use a battery it runs of kinetic energy in other words the movement of your wrist
