Punches from red, white & blue acid-free cardstock.

* 7 negative space punched scalloped rectangles: "JULY 4TH " & stars (approx. 1 1/2" and 1: wide)
* 12 white scalloped rectangles (approx. 1 1/2")
* 10 old fashioned clothespins (approx. 12")
* 16 mini stars
* Twine

DIRECTIONS:
1. Glue white rectangles behind negative space punches to create a "tile".
2. Thread a clothespin on the twine & glue to the first "tile"
3. Repeat.
4. Add stars as accents.

PUNCH TIPS:
Rough Edges ("chads"): Smooth rough edges with ur fingers. Lightly "sand" with an emery board if needed.

Mis-punches: Don't throw them out - - -1) Glue on the edge of the page/card & trim off the overhang. 2) Attach a whole punch in front of the the mis-punch with adhesive foam tape "hiding" the missing part of the mis-punch.

Small Parts: Attach small punches to the main punch with a small circle or square punch (ex: legs on a sheep or a stem to a flower).

Dimension: Create a 3D effect on ur punch project 1) Brush the edges of the punch out with an acid-free brush marker in a dark color . 2) Attach a punch with an adhesive foam square. 3) Glue several slender punches together to make one thicker punch that will stand out.

Excess Glue: After the glue is dry erase it with a gum eraser & disguise any spot by daubing it with matching ink using ur fingertip.
