The listing, Sweet Retro Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar has ended.

At StoryBook Ceramics we make hand crafted vintage style ceramics. Sometimes we end up with test pieces, or one of a kind items that are functionally perfect, but can't be sold with our normal items.

This little girl was a test piece for a new red glaze. She's very pretty, but not a match for our normal red glaze for this line. She would make a great gift for Mom or Grandma, or anyone who likes vintage styled pottery!

This is a reproduction of the Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar, with the poppy and daisy decals, and 23K gold fired accenting.

Sure. She's just under 13" tall, and about 24" around the widest part of the skirt. She's a good sized jar.

Thanks so much. We try to make them as faithful to the original Hull jars as possible. But, if the kids drop the lid and break it, you won't need to mortgage the house to replace it. The collectible versions are best kept away from little hands in a cabinet, to protect them. Ours can actually be used as intended. :)

I googled it and i cant believe how cheap the cookie jar is... guess i will have to spend some money. cannisters and all. have to have everything match and my kitchen is red/white unbelievable. thanks for saying to google it

I'm glad you found us. :) We really do everything we can to keep all of our products reasonably priced, especially in light of the cost of the originals. So many people grew up with these designs, and would like to share them with their own children and grandchildren. I've always loved the theme sets, like the Hull Little Red Riding Hood kitchenware. There's nothing like them available these days on the mass market.
