Yes, another successful raid on the Old Bat's jewelry cabinet....and I managed to snatch some great stuff for my buds on Listia! Hoo Ray for me....and Hoo Ray for you!!!

This piece is the PREMIER of her Avon collection! When I pulled this out of her cabinet, she grabbed her bat, and the chase was on.BUT, as you can see....I was able to outrun her. HeeHee! This piece is beyond description....but I'll try! Double string of black simulated pearls. One string is about 19" and the other is about 17". The white rose is some type of acrylic, porcelain....I'm not sure. It's 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". Very delicate looking. It has 3 diamond rhinestones in the fold of the petals. The leaves are goldtone metal. It's marked - K.J.L. for Avon. This was a special offering at the time, and is quite old. She only wore this a couple of times at special events. She was afraid of something happening to it. This is a GORGEOUS piece. I know the winner will adore it!

NOTE: Just for the folks who aren't familiar with the old Doodlebug.....The "Old Bat" is the gal I hitched up with with she was a beautiful young thing...in 1961. That's right...December will be FIFTY years! Now she's a beautiful old thing...my "Old Bat". When you've been married this long, you've earned the right to call each other whatever you want. Heh Heh!
