The listing, Vintage Old Time Train Set (non-working engine) has ended.

This train set was in the attic for a few years, so I thought maybe someone on listia with a small child would like to play and push it around the track (because of the length of time it was in the attic, the engine"s motor won't work).. You can also put it around a small Christmas tree to help enhance your decoration. Everything you see in the picture will be included with the exception of the box.. You will be required to pay only $7.00 via PayPal as I will absorbe the shipping over anything above $7.00. After checking with Stamps.com using the Parcel Post rate the cost would be around $15.00 to California and around $9.00 to South Carolina. Your shipping cost will be a bargain at $7.00. I would like to use a Large flat rate box..but it won't fit. Happy bidding!!!

I'll bet the train will fit in a large Flat Rate Priority box if you get rid of the foam. Use shredded paper or small wads of soft foam or paper instead. I have other ideas, too. I had to repackage a similar train set and I just cut down the pictures from the original box and put them in the mailing box. - Jon

For those of you who are concerned about the foam box you see in the picture...please note: The box is no longer available!!! The picture was taken a few months ago when I had previously thought of selling the set. Since it was a rather odd shaped box for shipping, I found no reason to keep it. I have taken the set and put it in a non-priority box. If I find a flat rate box that I can safely ship in, I'll use it. I might even try shipping in two flat rate boxes...it all depends on how far it's gonna have to travel and at what cost. I thank all of you for bidding and for your understanding.
