stones.

And if you are a jeweler, jewelry designer or into
arts & crafts maybe you can use the Citrines.

I had no idea that Citrines came in green or red, am very surprised to see the array of colors in this auction. Do you know the tcw (oops...I mean total carat weight) for the four stones? The size in mm? May I ask where you got them and how you know for sure they are Citrines? Thanks very much.

Hello! activepatriot from Bargainist95

Just getting back I purchase the gemstones from a Ebay buyer a few years ago
who wasn't truly about the gemstones that they weren't real sapphires, rubies
emeralds I learned from a local Jeweler in my city and the Citrines are around 0.25 carats
to o.50 carats.

After emailing you last night with some questions I checked with a gemologist friend and she assures me, as I thought, citrines are never green or red, so if the stones you have are real and not glass, only two and possibly only one, are citrines(s). I will go ahead and bid though it's risky; if any or all four are not real gemstones from mother earth, I will have to report it to Listia and get my credits back, with you paying the round-trip shipping. One quarter to one half carat is acceptable, though is that their total carat weight or the carat weight of each of the four stones? It looks to me that you have one peridot, one citrine, one garnet or poorer quality ruby, and one limon quartz but it's impossible to know without expert assessment of them in the flesh, so to speak. I am a good Listia member and help in keeping it a safe marketplace for all Listians. Sticking one's neck out, to some might make me a "troublemaker" but that is not true. I am ethical, responsible , love Listia and want it to suceed and be a viable website for both buyers and sellers. Btw, find a better jeweler as at least two of the stones are not citrine, maybe three of them. Frankly, I don't care what they are as long as they're real! But I do want to add that $6.00 shipping is way too high. I mail gemstones often and weightier stones than yours and it costs less than two dollars in every case. Putting the four stones in a scrap of bubblewrap and mailing them in a regular envelope with a lot of packing tape to make it a secure package, while also labeling the envelope "Hand Cancel Only" , will cost you about $1.50. As the bidding has started so low, I wouldn't mind paying the $6 s/h, but if it gets over 200-300 credits, the s/h should be, in my opinion, no more than the actual cost to mail it. That would be fair for all concerned I think. Take care and good luck with this auction. :))

Again Unless the local jeweIer I took the gemstones to was lying to me
because he sold gemstones to customers and I have often use
the local jeweler in my city for selling gemstones or jewelry I have for
sale.

The jeweler examine the gemstones and told me the different colors
of gemstones were not sapphires, ruby, emeralds or not even a
diamond and the lot of gemstones I purchase off Ebay's website
were only Citrines in different colors.

I was misled by the seller on the site and the seller
never gave me a document stating whether they are
genuine ruby, emerald or sapphire.
really a lot of rubies, sapphires, emeralds and the jeweler looked the
gemstones over and told me they were all Citrines gemstones
not real ruby, sapphire or emerald.

I purchase them off Ebay website a few years ago when they
were advertised as something else.

P.S. It just occurred to me that the photos you have up are stock photos and not the actual gemstones you are auctioning. That would explain the confusion.

They are about exactly as they look in the photos and if you
have them now you will see them much better.

The photos don't do them justice..

Nah, drat it! You describe one of the stones as light red and another as yellow-green and in that case they are definitely not citrines.

Hi again, Once more, what is the total gemstone weight for the four stones, as closely as you can tell me. Before when you answered my question you said from .25 to .50 but I don't know for sure if you meant each of the four stones are in that weight range or the total of the four are in that range. Thanks.

Yeah...why is it $6? They can't be THAT heavy, you probably only need about 3 stamps...And, everyone is saying that they aren't citrine?
