You don't need a charger with it you just need to replace the batteries with new ones when the old ones are dead

Yes but it has a limit of the capturing but i don't remember how long

1. Does it actually work? I have to ask that as I just received one that does not work because the memory card detent does not function at all.

The zoom on this is 3X, the amount of video time depends on the size of the memory card you use. It would be very nice if this new seller would respond to the questions we have posted.
