Thanks so much for your interest unfortunately I do not know the type of metal I brought it at my church a few years back. I payed around 15 for it so it probably isn't a very expensive type. As for the size I'm not positive. I have VERY tiny fingers and it fits. Is say a five maybe? I could be totally wrong. I'm sorry for the lack of info!
