You will receive 5 Venus Flytrap seeds that are from my personal collection! I am fascinated by these plants and kids seems to LOVE them! I have created a detailed sheet on the best growing methods I have found for your seeds. ONLY TWO lots available! I am keeping the rest and sharing with family and friends!

The Venus Flytrap is truly an amazing plant. They are actually carnivorous, meaning they eat living things. Nature never fails to absolutely baffle me, and show me something even more amazing every day. The Venus Flytrap is no exceptions. These are another one of natures incredible inventions, that will show you just how crafty and brilliant mother nature is.

~Cool Facts~
Thomas Jefferson & Charles Darwin both loved these plants.
It is said these plants glow BLUE!
The Venus Flytrap Is The Official “State Carnivorous Plant” Of North Carolina.
The lobes of Venus flytrap's trap can close in less than 0.1 seconds!
It usually takes around 10 days for a trap of Venus flytrap to digest a single prey.
The trapping mechanism of Venus flytrap is so sensitive that it can easily differentiate between a living prey and non-prey stimuli, such as falling leaves or raindrops.
Each flytrap can consume about 4 to 6 preys, after which the trap dies.

HI dear. They die after 4 - 6 feedings? What happens then? Do the other leaves (for lack of a better word) incorporate the dying leave and then more sprout? I have no inkling how they mature, etc. However, if it is like growing a cactus.... It is right up my alley!

Hi there and thanks for your interest in these guys! The trap dies but they will regenerate. I hope that makes sense! Kind of like a flower...once it dies, your pluck the old middle off and usually another will grow. Thanks, again!
