there is no clasp when it was bought there was no need. im 6'3" and 200+ pounds so im pretty big and it fits over my neck with room to spare. as for the gold it is white gold and has something on it to help the fadng process slow down because in rose and white gold they can fade back to a pure yellow. it was very expensive but i dont trust the pawn shop near me which scince i moved is the only store within 30 miles that buys/sales gold. if you need it shortened i have a buddy who works a little while away and can do that for me/you if you win.
