Up for auction is a nip beautiful sterling .925 necklace & earring set. im not exactly sure but believe the stone in them is opal if not it is identical to opal.im not sure how to tell what kind of stone it is.the jewelery is marked .925.the set is brand new & never been took out of package...

I have many opals and this looks more like what is called a moon stone. 9 out of 10 times even the milkiest opals will have color to them. this is a very beautiful set tho good luck with your auction
