I'm sure he'll love this. All of my children enjoyed it and they are still playing it at the ages they are now. They enjoy playing the handheld set. My boys all have learning disabilities and these education games are very helpful for them.

Hi, any member that whined to you about it not coming with a cord was feeling sorry for themselves. I had a member send me a message after she recieved her's in auction and asked about the power cord. My reply was "it didn't include one". These consoles are sold brand new in store without the power cord adapter. The member didn't want to use batteries and thought she would get the adaptor for it with that auction which I don't know where she got that info from cause everthing was shown in auction what she was getting. No dispute was ever filed.

I have never had a dispute filed on a v.smile console auction. This auction here is the only one and first one that I've offered the power cored adaptor for. As for without games??? not a clue, all my auctions have went out with what the winner won.

I with all of them offered games with the bonus offer so you get a game for every higher credit bid just as this auction. As mentioned, to date I've had no member file a dispute. I've had them contact me after auction with an issue such as one going on right now with them having it only playing on black n' white which is played in color here for me but we are currently sending messages back n' forth trying to figured out what the issue is cause it's odd to me.

Other member asked about how it wouldn't work with her plug in that she had for her sons. I told her that I never used it with the plug in adapter that it was only used with durecell batteries. She stated she'd pick some up and get back to me and that was about a week or so ago so to me it works fine.

Also just wanted to add to your above question/statement that this auction is being offered with the plug in adaptor but it's only included if credits reach 15000 as stated in the auction. So as of right now, it's only coming with the console, 1 controller & 4 games. And it has been tested and works. Will be tested again before we ship it out to make sure it's still good to go.

Also to sum it up for members that may not be familiar with the v.smile console. it's just a simple plug in play game. It has it's built in connectors to hook up to your tv. It runs off of batteries though so without an adaptor for it you will require batteries for this. As mentioned above, when you purchase this brand new in the store it dosn't ever include the adaptor that is an extra accessory for it. Personally I don't recommend the adaptor but so many members seem to hate batteries so I offer it as a bonus to the winner.

The V.Smile makes a great early gaming system for the 3-7 year old crowd.
Education-reinforcing games; Easy to set up and use; Lots of popular characters.
The V.Smile TV Learning System is a fun first video game for kids that backs up schooling concepts. It's a nice way to entertain them and still make them think at the same time.
The only cable attached to the console is the one that you connect into the Audio/Video "in" plug on your television set, so set-up is extremely simple.
Every game has an age recommendation on it (usually 3-5, 4-6 or 6-8), and lists usually 7-8 basic skills/lessons. Which usually consist of: Vocabulary, Counting, Shapes, Colors, Patterns, Problem Solving, Letters, Mathematics, Numbers, Phonics etc etc.
The only downside to the console is it runs on three "C" batteries but if you win the adaptor you'll be worry free.

******PLEASE NOTE******* This versions dosn't run on three "C" batteries (was thinking about the 1st version), this version runs off of four "AA" batteries.

The auction that you seen of mine last time was of the 1st Generation v.smile console. I've to date listed 4 of them. This is my 5th auction for the v.smile but this is the 1st one for the 2nd generation. I have so many of them because I've bought alot of them from people that were selling them but were coming complete package, so I was after the games that they included, this is why I have so many v.smile consoles. I purchased a few of them along time back for my own children when they were really small. I have 2 girls aged 5 and 11 and three boys aged 7,8 & 9. I'm slowly auctioning out the sytems they so much play with anymore.

As mentioned it could make for a great "Christmas or Birthday Gift" BUT....In order to get alot you need to bid from start to finish so you can raise the credits. Don't just watch, bid! Watching dosn't boost the credits up to where they need to be to get the amazing bonus offers this auction has to offer. Place a bid. Every bid counts :)
Good Luck to all of you and hope whom ever wins this auction will walk away proud knowing they won a great gift for their child(ren).

If credits go as high as 23000 credits I have another AMAZING BONUS offer to ad to this already super auction. Here's a hint: it's v.smile related and a great advantage to this bundle. I have many v.smile goodies and if the credits keep coming, I'm happy to add them. Let's go fellow Listians, Bid it up :) Don't let this auction go to waste and don't make me regret offering free shipping as v.smile consoles cost me $28 postage to ship them. Will cost me more with all these great items included into the deal. Let's not even think about the value of these items I'm giving away for free!!

You definately got yourself a great deal there. Here in Canada people give them away but it's the games that are harder to come by. Everyone tries to hold them and sell them @ $5 a piece. Can't purchase them in stores here anymore so you kinda gotta pay what's being asked if you want them around here. Thanks!

If it makes the winner feel better I can make a short video of the game being hooked up and shown that it plays on my tv prior to my husband packaing it up to ship off to you. Therefore if it arrives at your home with issues it was done during shipping and can't be held accountable for that. Or the issue is something with the winners tv connection.

Wait, as for games I did have a member contact me about games but that was totally different. She one only the console with a controller and 1 game BUT she wanted me to sell her another one of the games so she could have two and I stated no because the games were already relisted to Listia in auction for this one here that's posted. She then stated that it was okay that she had another member list one on here within' less then a few hours stating she just one it with a GIN of 50 credits.....lol (YUP!)

I always assure that my stuff works here in my own home prior to me sending it out cuase to me it's pointless to ship something that dosn't (without letting the potential bidders aware of it before hand). Why list something and lie about it's condition, package it up, pay almost $30 to ship it to the U.S to have the member complain and ask for their credit back?? Seems pointless to me. If it works here it should work there unless your tv is different from mine and you have some weired plug in settings on your tv affecting the consoles performace who knows.

It's plays in Canada so it should play in the U.S...lol But as I said, I havn't had anyone file a dispute, it's just a member crying because their angry with themselves for bidding on the older version model I've been listed and now see the newer model in auction and wished they'd save their credits for this one. I don't support bidders remorse, though but I think alot of members are like that.

HI, I find that the v.smile sell pretty good here. I find there is always members looking for one of them for the own children or grandkids. They are really good for the younger children. My 1st auction sold for 11285 credits which included the console, 1 controller & 5 games. The 2nd one I listed went out for 9146 credits and included the console, 1 controller & 3 games. My 3rd one went out for 6250 credits which included the console, 1 controller & 2 games, my 4th one went out for 2479 credits with the console, 1 controller & 1 game. They were all the very first v.smile console. No mic was included with that one. This auction is the 2nd generation which basically only betters it by adding the microphone, and it's alittle bigger less of a stalky build then the 1st generation one's I was listing. If you do descide to list your's into auction I only suggest that you offer free shipping cause I've seen others listed here that didn't and they could've got more credit for it. I think it all depends too on how many members at the time it's listed are really searching for one of them. I wish you the very best with your auction if you do descide to list it, and I will check it out also as I"m always searching for games that I may not have..lol

thank you so much for all information i really appreciated it a lot thanks again the only question that i have is that you put here that for example if when the post office send it if damage was the post office right i ask because some times the post office doesnt care about why we send i tell you this for my experience one time i send a valuable item in here and put a lot of time fragile and the item get damage beause some personal in the post office are like that an di appreciate all your information thansk a lot and that sright you cany pay 30.00 to send damage item thanks alot
Sep 24th, 2011 at 9:32:54 PM PDT by

I've had many U.S members that I've shipped to say that thier post service sucks, that they don't care about parcels at all there. I do write all over the box that it's fragile, do not drop, handle with care blah blah blah and hope that they will respect that. Personally I've never had an issue with Canada Post shipping my items. I've only had 2 encounters where the envelopes were torn open by the sorting machine and they sent it back to me to repackage and paid for them to be sent back out. Luckily no damage was done to the items I was sending..lol And yes I find it completly stupid to pay almost $30 of my money to send the winner something that is defective. I have 5 children and to through that kinda cash away just to get some credit's isn't something I'm all about.

Your welcome and as I said in the comments section, if you win and would like me to send you a short video of this console being hooked up and shown it plays and show it being packaged up prior to me shipping it out to you, please let me know. Any member that would've sent you anything to try an make you not wanna bid further is lying, I'd have no problems sending you the messages between me and all the previous winners of my auctions of these type v.smile systems. They all filed positive feedback and if anything wasn't set straight in the feedback I made sure I contacted them to make sure the issue at hand was fixed prior to leaving my feedback.

Any of this system/games damaged in any way?
Sep 23rd, 2011 at 1:11:39 PM PDT by

Nope, I test everything prior to placing it into auction, re-tested again prior to packaging. You have my 100% guarentee that this is in good working order. I package everything in a box and tape it up (entirely, the whole box). Write on the package on multiple places that's it's Fragile, Do Not Drop, Handle with Care and pray for the best that it can ship free of any damage though the mail.

LoL! that happens to be alot on here. I have 3-4 specific members that are always bidding on auctions that I plan to win. I usually don't like to make myself known to any potential bidders during the auction as these members are aware of how I play so if they see that I've made a comment, they know I'll be there at the end. But if I don't make a comment and don't bid till the very last few seconds their not sure if I'm there...lol we all have made ourselves well aware of one another and how we all bid so not too many members like to see that I'm bidding against them. It's alot of fun!!! :)
