Description

The listing, Sedum rubrotinctum "JELLY BEAN SUCCULENT" (5 'Pups') has ended.

Sedum rubrotinctum or commonly known as The Jelly Bean Plant, is a favorite of mine, so I thought I would share it with you!
Winner will get at least 5 "pups" from the plant shown. They easily root by just setting them in a slightly moist sandy soil. Keep moist for about 10 days then water when dry (as with most succulents & cactus).
If you have questions, please ask before bidding. No bidder's remorse. Listia rules apply and you must have a verified address.
Thanks! Fave fun and bid to win!!!

Can these stand up in freezing winter weather and are they the kind that basically take over a lot of ground space?

The cold temps would be very bad. At about 45-50 degrees they get very unhappy. Anything below that usually will kill them.
They don't get very large, however. Sedums generally "trail" along the ground or drape from a container. Thank you!

Thank you very much. I am looking for something that will cover the ground, not get very tall, and withstand KS weather. Thank you.

Check out on google Sedum "Angelina". This is much more cold hearty than the Jelly Bean and has a similar look. It is a great crawling ground cover that is used often here in Oklahoma. It can withstand temps to 0 degrees in winter, and also is drought tolerant in the summer.
If you like it, I have lots and we could work out a deal. You are welcome to message me any time.
Cheers

Can these stay inside?

Sure. They do quite well inside when planted in clay or ceramic pots. A sunny spot and little water are the basic important things. Thanks for the question.
