This "shoe" for your iron is made by Bo-Nash. It fits on over the sole-plate of your iron so you can iron without a press cloth, even on "sensitive" fabrics. It is made of fiberglass so starch and fusibles won't stick to it. It has vent holes in it so you can iron dry or with steam. It fits most irons: its maximum measurements are 6.5 x 10.5 inches. A drawstring tightens it up for a snug fit on your iron.

I have only used this once. It worked well, but then I bought an Oliso iron, the kind that lifts itself up automatically when you let go of the handle. That iron has little "feet" that come down to raise the iron up, so this iron shoe won't work with that type of iron.
