Description

The listing, (ERROR COIN) 2002 JEFFERSON NICKLE has ended.

Up for auction is a very strange Jefferson error nickle. I've tried researching to find exactly what kind of minting error it is but can find nothing like it. Hard to put a value on something like this. If anymore information is need please feel free to ask. Happy bidding.

I read something that said that it maybe an error where the blank is to large and when it gets pressed it crushes the edges.

I think it's a dye crack.

If you look at the back of it the whole rim is flattened and folded over and then the image was press into it. At least that's what it looks like.

Yeah I hear ya. You should get some credits, soon I'll be putting up a unsearched shotgun roll of wheat penny. It could have Barber dimes, Mercury Dimes, Flying Eagles, Indian Head pennies, key date wheats. Who knows...
