Over 100 Buttons! Some are quite old as some are obviously Art Deco Era and many metal shanks but I suspect most to be from the 60's and 70's a couple old spools of thread, an older scissors and some button cards. Two small black pearl buttons I took off a very deteriorating card from Muscatine Iowa thats business was Pearl Works! and the full card was just 10 cents, gotta be old....Many sets in the lot and. Some pretty twinkles with the foil or mirror backs (the hotties of their day-LoL) others include shell, plastic, Lucite, Rhinestones, Pearl, 1 known Celluloid and another a suspect! possible set of three bakelite? 1 glass? Metal and 1 has a stacked topper in a modern art like style and one has an inset floral motif. Also a set of 2 childrens Beatrix Potter Bunnies. Some of these are really gorgeous old buttons. If the lot exceeds $90,000 I will hurl in some super cool buttons still on the cards and maybe a surprise or two! Comes in an old 40's-50;s cardboard box with something like wallpaper covering it? anyway its in great shape and all about the buttons vs the box . If this goes well I have scads more buttons! I have some on display in my laundry room in old mason jars and some tins picked up at estate sales. I do Want to keep some but have too many. Also, I don't collect them so I know next to nothing about them, but I will answer ???? as able but please note this isn't my usual realm!
I do think this is a super clean and better than average lot, but maybe I m biased, I sorted out the best on this lot and going through a new tin tonight. Happy 4th to all!
