The lucky winner gets 40 of these 1-inch silver plate headpins with balls, the shortest shown in the first photo. The other photos show some of the jewelry I've made with headpins, but the ones with a ball one the end are SO much better -- you don't have to add your own "end bead" to hold on the next bead. I counted out 40 then added a few more ... a few in each batch are bent but you can still use them (I do).

I make my popular European charm bead earrings with these. They are a normal small gauge that should fit any beads you have with normal small holes, including tiny Swarovski crystals, yet sturdy enough to bend without breaking as you make your loops. I've used a lot of these with no problems.
