Had to. I needed to check the motherboard. And the battery is new

Put the battery back in and charge it uo so you can turn it on and we can see if there is any display, it may need a new digitizer and if so it's cheaper to buy a new tablet

If the outer glass (digitizer) is cracked, the "touch" will not work.. It will display, or turn on, as long as there is no cracks in the lcd screen below the digitizer.
