The last 10 or so comics I've won on here have been packaged without any protection aside from MAYBE a bag and board. I'll let you in on a secret... that's not nearly enough to protect a comic from USPS.

I'll let you in on another secret. A comic bagged and boarded with a single piece of cardboard is typically enough to do the trick (while most collectors would argue that's still not enough, it really is in most cases). A single comic bagged and boarded only weighs about 3 oz. A single comic bagged and boarded with a single piece of cardboard usually weighs about 4 oz. The difference in price is literally $0.20, and it makes people a lot happier.
