Yes you can , I plant a whole bunch along an area and it is beautiful,my seeds are a variety so you will have all kinds of sunflowers.Thanks for comment and good luck.

I have lots of squirrels where I live and have to be choosy where I plant them. If it is along a fence where they can get to it, seed collecting is doomed to failure!

You'll have so many seeds each year if you deadhead when the petals wilt cut the whole floer head from top of stem and dry the seeds.The birds and the squirrels will have plenty and lots will still be left for you.I put a crate over top of the flowerheads when i dry them because if you don't they just may eat them all.
