This is the official 36 page guide book to the Jorvik Viking Center in the city of York, England. York is an ancient town, founded by the Romans. During the 10th century it was the Danish capital of Viking ruled English lands. Extensive excavations have revealed much of the old Viking York (Jorvik) and the center is where much of the research and relics are on display. Large format 8" x 10" color photo illustrations on every page.
