Aloe thraskii is a plant in the genus Aloe. It is commonly known as the Dune Aloe. These plants are naturally found in dune vegetation along the coast of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
Majestic tree aloe with profuse, thick, yellow-orange flowers in mid winter which are a hit with the birds. Has typical arching, grooved aloe leaves with light green coloration. Aloe Thraskii is a fast growing and hardy variety.
Tolerates light frost and higher rainfalls, but must be planted in free draining soils.
