Resident Evil really is the game that started the Survival Horror games. I still remember when I play the first Resident Evil game and before I got to the first zombie I turn off the game because I was so scared that my heart was racing 90 to nothing and that's no lie that is the stone cold truth.

I also remember watching my cousin play resident evil 2 and during the scene where your character is in the gun shop before the character leaves four zombies break down the window and attack the gun shop owner.

It still scares me that scene because the house I was living in at the time in the dining room there was a giant window in the room and the scary thing was the window look like the one in the game and each time I walk by it. the scene from the game comes to mind

Thank you so much for that. The copy of Resident Evil 1 I have is the Deluxe Edition while the dvd is good The movie is flawless and the extras on the dvd were very different from this release of the movie for one thing they did was they did a different behind the scene where they made different interviews with the cast and crew of the movie and it has a delete scene of Alice trying to find Matt after the movie and it also had the final scene to Resident Evi 2 which to this day I don't understand why but no matter.

The reason I said that is because The Deluxe Edition was release a few months before the second movie and it came with a bonus ticket to see the movie for free so I saw the second movie on opening day and then I saw it a second time with the ticket.

The deluxe edition is not bad but I think in terms of bonus items this one is superior

This one one of my first dvds I ever bought being an adult! I married a horror fanatic and with my stuff and his (7 years of marriage) we have repeats. I think that I can part with my stuff alot better than he. I do think of this movie with fond memories and to give it to a good home brings me a smile. :)

Cool and I'm sure your husband has seen every horror movie that has been made. Horror movies can really push it when they want to. Resident Evil is one of the horror movies I have the courage to watch lol. Horror movies really scare me for the most part I guess you can say I scared too easy lol but for real this is a awesome movie based of a video game legend. And believe me this dvd would be welcome in my collection with all the other dvds I have

I have a thing for zombies so this was major on my list!!! Everytime my little brother played the game he would turn out all the lights and we would scare ourselves to death!!! I am a glutton for punishment! :)

Same here and you're welcome Movies are one of my favorite things to talk about. Trust me I would love to have Resident Evil for my collection. I have all of the movies on dvd however this is the main edition of Resident Evil I have been searching for and it would be good for my collection

Each one has a different release date Resident Evil:Damnation is set to be out in 2012 and Resident Evil 5:Retribution is also set for a release in 2012

Yes the next CGI Resident Evil Movie is called Resident Evil:Damnation and Leon will be returning to the movie and Resident Evil 5 is in the works with half the cast coming back to reprise their roles
