The Slayed Dollar Copper Round is inspired by the U.S. Mint’s Trade Dollar Silver Coin, which was minted from 1873 to 1885. William Barber designed this coin depicting a seated Lady Liberty atop bales of wheat and other goods. The original Trade Dollar was part of group of bullion coins used to purchase goods from different countries. Liberty sat on merchandise, and held an olive branch in her outstretched right hand.

The obverse of the Copper Slayed Dollar features a Lady Liberty sitting atop a throne of bones, ravaged by the pandemic apocalypse. In her right hand she holds a scythe to represent the lives reaped by the zombie scourge, and in her left hand she holds a banner that once read “LIBERTY”, but that is now inscribed with “Z TWO”, the denomination of this apocalyptic round. “SLAYED DOLLAR” is inscribed on a banner below her throne, and “2019” and 12 six-pointed stars appear adjacent to the rim.

A gore-splattered biohazard symbol features on the reverse, and serves as a reminder to the living that danger lurks around every corner, ready to attack. The Provident Metals compass logo, “ZOMBUCKS,” “CURRENCY OF THE APOCALYPSE”, and “1 oz .999 FINE COPPER” are inscribed.
