The listing, Victorian Lady Porcelain CAMEO Hand Painted has ended.
Part of a collar necklace or brooch from late 1800s to early 1900s, this brass plated tin ornate cameo is of a Victorian lady in a pink gown or dress with a high sheer collar. Elaborate and fancy in antique design she measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/8 altho she looks oval. The cameo itself is 12x18mm. There would have been several joined by wire or delicate chain or fabric and fastening around the neckline or collar line. The setting is quite secure and there are remnants of the fastening links on one sire and a slide for another attachment. Could also have been an old watch band piece. Nice piece of jewelry either way. This can be used to make something new to you, or to frame and enjoy. Perhaps a shadow box? If you love Victorian motif, this is a sweet addition! The back is as intricate as well and open in the back as shown. Please enlarge for details. There's a small bend in the back metal where the locket section went. Other than that, except for being one of maybe many pieces, she's fine, no cracks or breaks in the porcelain.
