This is a Gorgeous 'Fair Trade' woven MALACHITE
Cuff-Style Bracelet in Excellent, barely worn condition!
I hate to part with it, but I don't wear it & has been sitting in a jewelry box, when someone could be enjoying it.

Malachite, intricately woven by women in Indonesia, as part of a Fair Trade Program which pays the Artisans a liveable wage for their beautiful wares.

Bracelet is 7.5" long, although the closure allows it to fit a bit larger wrist. About 1 3/4" wide.

It is unique & beautiful. Not a light-weight piece. Very skillfully and well-made. A strong bracelet. Comfy to wear, I just can't keep bracelets on long enough to enjoy them.

"Malachite is believed to be a strong protector of children. It is said to protect the wearer from accidents and protects travelers. Malachite has been used to aid success in business and protect against undesirable business associations. It is a stone of balance in relationships."

"Malachite is always green, usually in banded tones varying from very dark green to a mellow green. Most malachite comes from Zaire, Chile and Australia."

The dreaded moving! Ugh!! I've moved over 25 times in my life and the older u get the worse it is. Just like everything else lol

You are too sweet! No, absolutely not, it is an auction & I hope you win! As I said, it has "sat@ in a jewelry box & I am just happy to have someone enjoy it! You are absolutely right about moving!! I am prob very close to your # of moves. You would think I would learn by now:) I really do not move very far, but I still have to pack just as much stuff:) I am so tired. I actually signed a 2-year lease with an "option to buy clause." That is another big commitment, LOL I can commit to my sons( now 19) haha but not being "stuck!"
