The rock box is in excellent condition--no chips or cracks. The colors range from green to ivory to brown.
Has beautiful patterns in the box--on the top it looks like lightning and clouds.
The box measures about 4 1/2" across and is about 1 3/4" high
"note" the ad says that this is for women but I have seen others who think it is for men. I, personally think it is a sweet smell more suitable for women but, I think it just depends on how the spikenard reacts to your body chemistry. I really don't know much about it--I just thought the box was very cool!

I had never heard of Spikenard, until I found this and did my research on it. If you are interested, it's easy to look it up using search words in my title. All I can say for sure is that the contents are authentic and the bottle is full!

Nice item. I did google it as suggested in your description, but mostly found links to ebay listings. Apparently it is not so rare on there, but this box is prettier than most of those. Good luck everyone!

Yes, there are other spikenard alabaster boxes on eBay..some of them are very ornate..different sizes, etc. I did not use the word "rare". You did. I guess I would consider it kind of rare tho because these haven't been made for a very long time and there won't be any more. When I type in the words"tbn cologne spikenard alabaster" into my search box, I find lots of information about this item and others. If you are interested, please try again. This Spikenard does smell wonderful, it's so awesome that even after it's gone it leaves that awesome fragrance in the box. But don't know if it's for a perfume per say, but for an anointing purpose as prayed for. But it smells so good you would want to use it as such, and the box or case has such pretty color to it.

Spikenard isnt actually a "thing"- its a combo of things....I think what gives this the distinct smell is cassis and cedar. Very woody stuff- great auction!
