The listing, HP Optical 5 button mouse driver cd has ended.

I used it once no longer have the mouse but it will work on any hp 5 button optical mouse. its the drivers and software stuff for it.

Do you know, by chance, if these HP drivers will work on a 5-button Dynex (generic) mouse?

I remember you ^^ Hehe I answered that before but i guess you didnt get to see it so I can answer it again for ya :) They won't work on an off brand mouse however you can look up the drivers in google for free and download them without having to buy them usually if it isnt already built into the mouse as a plug and play. Normally windows picks up the drivers automatically but if you are having issues you can download them for free just google the model of mouse and put in drivers at the end

I knew you told me, but I couldn't find the message....I'll never go back to using normal 3 button mouse after getting used to the 5 button....wish there were more drivers...lots of them don't work on xp

yea i hear ya sry for the delay in reply my internet has been a pain in my butt lately but yea i understand if your having too many issues with it just email me the model and stuff and i can see if i can find you the drivers for free
