OK I won this on here, and i had planned to fix it,when i got it ,it was playing music!!! so it DOES work... it needs a new LCD screen, you can get them for 47.00 on amazon! at this point that is just to much, AND i am afraid i would mess it up!!! so this is great for someone who would like to spend $47 on an ipod gen 4 rather than $229.99!!!...the GIN is what i put out on it...thats all i am really wanting for it!!! and a case with it!!!

It was dropped....and messed up lcd...

The LCD can be fixed for about 10 dollars. I had this problem. It is an easy fix if you look up tutorials on youtube. Nice auction though :)

actually the screen is cheaper then 47 dollars on amazon... if you go on this link on amazon, apple is distributing official parts from their manufacturing corporation. actually the digitizer is the what you put on top of the lcd screen to actually make it a capacitive touchscreen, its two pieces lol well good luck:D

@krystal32 no its not a one peice (gp167) was correct its a two peice theres the lcd than the digitizer that goes on it...its just fused together. you might not even need to buy anything you should try opening it up and seeing if the digitizer wire might of came out or if its loose...and if you wanna buy a new you should visit my buddys at ifixit.com there fast at shipping and very reliable cause sometimes( amazon sells it and it dont work cause i bought a front panel for my itouch and it didnt work when i got it )plus they got the tools you need for a couple buck..and the part you need is only 119
