it looks like it says 925 which stands for sterling silver. its most likely dipped or plated in gold because it has that color in the pictures.

I can't read the tiny numbers and letters any more. My eyes are just too old. lol I did update the listing with pictures of the markings though. Hope that helps. :)

Correction, Sorry, but my original reply was wrong. I went and got the neclace out again to try and double check and it does indeed look more black than blue. Please accept my apologies. Also, the stone looks like it could use a cleaning in order to rise back to it's fullest potential. Professional cleanings can usually be done for free at many major jewelry stores. Hope that helps. :)

I am surrounded in a sea of boxes (just moved into a new place with my sons) and can't find my measuring tape for the life of me. Would a size comparison picture be alright? I can try and find something to lay the chain next to for a size comparison.
