Found this in my cables bin, not even sure what I used it for but maybe you do and have some use for it. One end is usb goes into laptop the other is like ps2

Hey, computer geek here.

Just a note on this item folks. This adapter will not do what it appears to do unless your PS/2 mouse uses both the PS/2 and USB communication protocols. If your PS/2 mouse came with one of these adapters and then maybe you misplaced it, this adapter will work.

AGAIN, It WILL NOT magically make any PS/2 mouse work with a USB port. It is specific to a certain type of mouse. To determine if your mouse is compatible with this adapter, check the packaging that your mouse came in. It will say something like PS/2/USB compatible.
