The listing, Smiling Sunflowers Needlepoint Canvas Collection has ended.

This is a DMC Needlepoint Canvas Collections design called Smiling Sunflowers. The canvas is colored for easy stitching and the size is 6" x 9". You can use either pearl cotton or embroidery floss and there is a list for both. Once stitched, there are ideas on things you can do with your finished piece on the back, from just framing it, making it a pillow, putting it on a tote bag, etc. This is such a happy piece it just makes everyone smile! Yes, the design is printed in color on the needlepoint fabric and it also includes the chart so you can see exactly how many stitches should be yellow or white, etc. Honestly, there isn't too much difference between needlepoint and cross stitch except for the fabric. I started out on needlepoint when I was about 12 and moved to cross stitch around 13. Most of the stitches are the same, cross stitch just a few more and crosses back over the "needlepoint stitch". I work in plastic canvas too and use the smaller count and do cross stitch on it. If this doesn't answer all your questions just let me know!
