It is looser, it dips in around the ribs but it is still loose enough to not feel like a sausage :) ***This is granted it is the correct size**** I say this because my daughter seems to think she can still wear the same size shirt as she did at 12 (she is 24) Then she tries it on and says it's too small and throws it in the closet never to be seen again :(
