Description
The listing, Vintage Book "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte has ended.
This is a vintage copy of Emily Bronte's classic novel Wuthering Heights in fantastic shape.
I don't know what year this was made but it is an exact copy of her 1847 first edition.
The cover is nice and tight and the pages are still securely bound.
The top and bottom edegs are smooth but the side edges are kind of rough as you can see in the 4th picture. Apparently it came that way from the printer way back when and it doesn't appear to be damage (unless every page was damaged exactly the same way uniformly from top to bottom). I think it was a printer error.
This is going to make a wonderful addition to someones vintage book collection!

Questions & Comments
Is there any type of date, copyright or anything on any of the first few pages? Thank you,
No there's not. I've hunted for it and can not find any date that indicates when it was actually printed. I have another copy just like this one (that my husband found at a Goodwill!!!) and it doesn't have any info either.
Nice auction!! Does it give the publishing city by any chance? Sometimes you can backtrack and find the year if you know the city of publishing. Thank you!!!
No problem Karen. This book has probably been published hundreds of times. And some, especially in the good condition this is in, are worth a little money.
I'm not at home but I'm hoping to get there before this auction ends. If I can I'll let you know. I'm sorry! I didn't plan to be away and I can't call my husband to ask since he's at work. I'll try my best to answer.
I don't know. I should be back home today sometime. I didn't expect to be away and my husband is at work so I can't even ask him to look. I'm so sorry!
