Yes it is :) But there are 2 types of Moringa and this one is called: Moringa Oliefera.

Hi Merrill :) They can grow just about anywhere. But in cold zones you may have to treat them as a small bush and annual, verses the thin tree perennial. If growing as an annual be sure and start the seeds very early (2-3 months) so they will be a nice healthy 12" or so before planting in spring. Basically, we want to get the slow part out of the way so they hit the ground running with a short season. Ps Moringa is also rated as one of the fastest growing trees.
That said, it is not unusual to hear that folks from the north, including Canada, have also grown Moringa as a tree. No doubt this requires a bit more fuss like allowing the plant to grow a nice root system (a season or two) before planting in-ground, plus lots of mulch to keep the roots warm when the ground is frozen.
