Battle of Iwo Jima Coin is made of brass and almost the exact size of a USA Half Dollar!
The shiney penny pictured is just there for size comparison and is not included.

The perfect size to wear on a chain, in a baile around your neck as a reminder to yourself & others of sacrifices that made us a great nation, this one being during World War two.

Days cannot & will not be lowered and a GIN will not be placed on this item. I have also placed an extended time period for this auction to play out. This will give MANY interested people a good shot at winning!

My father served in WW II in the Pacific Theater as a medic on the front lines. He was with the 1st MASH unit.

Of the six flag wavers (5 USMC and one USN), three were killed on Iwo Jima. The most famous of the flag wavers was Ira Hayes.

Ira Hamilton Hayes was a Pima Native American and a United States Marine who was one of the six flag raisers immortalized in the iconic photograph of the flag raising on Iwo Jima during World War II.
