The listing, SIMS DVD ROM GAME for PC has ended.

This is SIMS LIFE STORIES Game- for a computer DVD ROM .. I received this from a seller off here, but after I received it, I realized my sons PC drive is NOT a DVD Rom drive... :( .. Disc looks to be in very good condition. Has game manual inside case.

Does this have to have the original sims installed in order to play?

It says on the back of the game "This stand alone does NOT support expansion packs or stuff packs from the sims or sims 2 game collections"
