Description
The listing, Open Pollinated Cherry Seeds - GIN! has ended.
My semi dwarf Rainier cherry tree produces an abundance of delicious cherries good for drying, canning, pies, or eating fresh. Its most likely pollinator is a zone 4 hardy variety my neighbors only know is a genetic dwarf. Because this particular tree is very prolific, I'm offering ten seeds- fifteen if you want to GIN.
Questions & Comments
That really depends on which of the seed's genetic traits manifest. A true Rainier cherry tree can get up to around 30 or 35 feet at maturity. This little tree of mine is considerably smaller in part because of the root stock to which it was grafted- which will not have any effect on the seeds it produces. However, its most likely pollinator is a true genetic dwarf maybe about ten feet tall.
