Is the outside waterproof or would I need a cover? Also fanned and watching!

i dont know if the outside is waterproof.. but its thin.. so i dont think it would really get wet if it really did get wet.. because the inside liner is thick enough to keep the moisture out of it... and keep the moisture from the inside inside of the bag.. if that makes sense?

its not really waterproof on the outside.... its just a cloth material. but they are great diapers... you just cant leave them on for 4-5 hours like you do disposables

Sunbaby pocket diapers have polyurethane laminate on the inside of the outer fabric layer. If you look inside the pocket, the inside of the outer fabric should be smooth and kinda shiny, this is the layer that makes the diaper waterproof :)

AND, I might add ...there are web sights which sell those particular types of laminated fabrics ...for those of you who want to make your own AT home. Also, just use a disposable {a little bigger is better than tight fitting; 'cuz you want to allow for their RAPID growth} for a pattern, & then use velcro, for adjusting the fit}
