Yes it has a crystal top on a stainless steel ball. The other one you commented on it acrylic bar with a crystal internally thread top.

Honestly I like both kind, the one that has an acrylic bar is softer on your teeth and doesn't screw on you just push the crystal top into the hole in the bar, the metal bar is good too but you do have to screw the ball into it. I use both kind and the only thing I can tell that's different is how it feels with you touch it with your tongue on the inside of your mouth.
