The listing, Organic Lupine Seeds - 1 package of 20 has ended.
Lupines bloom late Spring into Summer. Full Sun to Light Shade. Scatter seeds outdoors is best. They don't transplant well.(Instructions will come with seeds). There will be Purple, or Purple & White variegated, and Possibly Light Pink. They are a member of the "Pea" family, and while NOT edible (poisonous). They do enrich the soil they are planted in. They do not bloom the 1st year but will the 2nd year and each year after that. They go very nicely with Iris's (see photo 3), Peonies, and many others flowers. You do NOT need a "Green Thump" to grow them. They can be mowed or Weed-eated down in the Fall if desired. These have grown in Maine, Zone 5, so tolerate cold winters.
