Description

The listing, Semi-Precious Green Aventurine Gemstone Pendulum has ended.

This Auction is for a Semi-Precious Green Aventurine Gemstone Pendulum. This measures 1 3/8th " Long by 5/8th " wide and the Silver Tone chain is being 6 1/2" Long.

How a Pendulum Works:
The pendulum can be thought of as an extension of the intuition, since it is used to gain access to information that exists at the subconscious level of the Inner Being. It could be said that it strengthens or amplifies the intuition because it converts the subtleties of the intuition into a more obvious form of physical motion. When you ask a question of the pendulum, it is your own intuition that answers it. The pendulum merely allows you to physically see what the intuition already knows. As an extension of the intuition, the pendulum can give you information from the same two sources as the intuition: from your own subconscious mind; and from your guidance, spirit, or guardian angel. Because of how it operates, the pendulum can only answer questions that are phrased so that the answer is either "yes" or "no".
Aventurine is a stone of prosperity. It reinforces leadership qualities and decisiveness. Promotes compassion and empathy. Encourages perseverance. Aventurine relieves stammers and severe neuroses. It stabilizes one’s state of mind, stimulates perception and enhances creativity. Aids in seeing alternatives and possibilities. Calms anger and irritation. Promotes feelings of well-being. Aventurine balances male-female energy. It encourages regeneration of the heart.
Green Aventurine is a comforter and heart healer. Green Aventurine settles nausea and dissolves negative emotions and thoughts. It brings well-being and emotional calm. A good all-round healer.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Have Fun and Good Luck!

We are doing well. I hope you and you hubby (as well as you four legged fur babies) We have just been battening down the hatches for me to be down for a while after this LAST surgery. Which means making sure my hubby has all my lesson plans for our son and making sure the animals are all taken care off. We have a brood of chicks that need to be moved out of their brooding box into the coop which we are remodeling so we have been busy but good. Also very very hot about 99 today without the humidity. =) Thank you so much for asking. Have a Wonderful Weekend! ~Namaste

Glad to hear you and your family are doing well. It was in the 90s too, not very comfortable with the humidity. How many chickens do you have? That must be some job moving them to another location. When is your last surgery? Hope recovery is real quick. We are doing fine. Have a great week-end.

August 4th is my surgery. I will have listed a few things all with out any GIN's so that I give myself the time to rest. I love my funny ladies, or chickens, and actually moving the from their brood boxes in the garage out the the coop is simple because you move them into the space where the older ladies can't pick on them but they can get use to each other and then at 3 months we remove the gate that separated them and usually there is no problem since I only breed birds who are known for their sweet natures and are hearty in the heat and cold of winter here. I would love to build a beautiful new coup and start raising heritage breeds (ones that are almost completely out of extinction because they don't lay may eggs) Because I can't spend a few minutes with them without a smile on my face. They along with my garden help me find a Zen Place. However the Heritage birds are always so pretty but they take a lot of extra care as they also tend to be the more delicate breeds. So that is my "someday" dream. =) So before I put you to sleep with more than you needed Chicken raising info I will bid you good Day and hope for you a Super Sunday! ~Namaste

I hope all goes well with the surgery. Do you have names for all your chickens? It must be very interesting raising them. I had no idea about the heritage breeds. Although I live in the city, while I was running I heard a rooster crowing. I don't think livestock is allowed in the city, but some people must sneak raise them. Have a great weekend.

I don't know what the rules are in Chicago but the number one group of NEW Chicken raisers are city dwellers. It has been an ongoing trend for the last 10 years. I have several friends who live in the city and and raise 3 to 4 Bantam hens and they raise them in the backyard. They get just enough eggs for their families. Plus they are hours of fun. When I first started raising them I brought 4 home and told my hubby that I was the best wife in the world b/c I bought him 4 young chicks for his birthday. lol I told him and my son NOT to name them because they were food. Well it ended up that I named them without meaning to and I had become so enamored with them that I decided that we would not be putting the chickens in a pot. lol So our "deal" with our "Chickie" girls is that if we can take their eggs then we would provide them a good life in return. Ours are considered "free range" because have more than 25 square foot of space per chicken. Also we don't treat them with hormones which is what big name Chicken Producers give chickens so they get fatter faster....well guess what they we consume that food which then makes US Fatter Faster. So after doing lots of research on my Cancer we found that the hormones and all the Soy (which mimics Estrogen in a woman's body) is actually what is causing this cancer so fast and younger and younger is because we put too many things EXTRA in our food so it was a way to take some control. So yes we name the ones that have the biggest personalities and eventually they all end up with names. But we love the eggs and none of us have the heart to put them in the fryer. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful friend. I wish you all the best in all your days. ~Namaste

I know someone who raised chickens in a nearby burb. A tour guy for the Summit Park District. Poor guy had to give up his chickens when he had a bad ladder accident that left him disabled. Anyway, I am a vegetarian for years. I understand about all those hormones in meat products. I made the connection with meat at an early age and dropped it instantly(when I found out from a yoga teacher I wouldn't starve). Everyone is different with their connections and beliefs. I would be playing around with the chickens and talking to them.

Are you a Vegan or Locto-Ovo Vegetarian? One of the things I ran into was that I had been a Veggie for almost 14 years and most all of the foods I ate had Soy protein in them unless they were actually the real veggies and fruits But I loved a good Boca Buger (in our area it is one of the best "pretend meats" ) Also while cooking for our children I would add boca as a meat substitute when we had pasta. So now I am very careful where I get any meat from but my being a veggie helped my Cancer get worse faster. So I am an everything in moderation. Of course I live in a rural area so I know the guy we get our beef from and they are all hormone free. Which then makes it expense. However, because of all the secondary issue that come from having Cancer most of my protein comes from Whey Protein shakes that I start each day with!
When it comes to the chickens I have a few that are "mine" such as a small Millifluer who is a small bantam with feathered feet and she will come up to me while I am in the coup and get to the highest roosting bar until she can just step on my shoulder. So I have my favorites but my son will sit in the coup and play with them all and has since he was about 4.

I am a vegan for the most part, but don't go to extremes like avoiding honey. There is coconut and almond cheese these days. I don't care for fake meat and prefer a hardy salad. I am into green smoothies and use raw coconut milk. My favorite salad is purple cabbage and cilantro with lemon dressing. How cute about the small bantam. It is amazing how they show their love. It is great your son enjoys them all.

It sounds like you live a very healthy lifestyle and that you are very aware of what is in the things you put into your body. My thing is moderation in all things and being aware of what you put into you body. Locally made Honey is so good for you in so many ways that it would be hard for me to give it up. Since I started using local honey my allergy issues have disappeared. Honey that is made by bees in your are will give you small amounts of many allergens but if you have them all the time then your body knows how to deal with them. I find it my favorite Natural Sweetener right next to Stevia which of course has minimal calories in it. LOL I can just chat all day. In many ways getting Cancer so young has brought many blessings into my life. I know that may sound odd but It really has. I know so much more about what I put into my mouth than I would have known otherwise. Have a beautiful afternoon and evening. ~Namaste

I try my best to keep healthy, although I do like some dark chocolate and some snacks. I had fresh Jack Fruit from Whole Foods for the first time(rather expensive), but interesting tasting.

There have been several studies showing that Dark Chocolate in moderation is good for your heart. So see even that is a good thing =)

I bought a Yacon plant at the flower and garden show and it is growing like mad in the yard. It is suppose to get tubers that are sweet and edible...but that might not happen until the 2nd season. The Health Food places sell this as a healthy syrup. I might take some roots and continue to grow it through the winter. I would have to get a South American plant that will not take winter. Maybe this might work. The plant is from the Sun Flower family. What do you think?

I think it will work if you either make a hot box in your yard or bring it in and have a good window that is South facing for the best Sun exposure for the majority of the day. If you leave outside in an Illinois winter it will probably not make it but outdoor hot boxes are not hard to make (all you need is an old window) or bringing some of the tubers in and see if you can get them to sprout indoors. I think the trying would be worth it and completely awesome. ~Namaste

Thanks for your advise. I read that tubers come in the second year...so far I have not seen any tubers. I will harvest some of the roots and transplant them in good soil. Our kitchen window yields some good sun(this is where I kept it as a young plant in the spring before planting it outside). The leaves are really big now and the plant looks strong. I bought a novelty pineapple plant last year that had a mini pineapple on top. The top eventually fell off, but I replanted that and it is doing well. The main plant is still growing too.

I love that you at least try with these not so common plants. If one of these flower shows you go to are ever going on when I am in Illinois at my Cancer Treatment Center I am going to have to try to go. (my Cancer treatment center is in Zion IL just about an hour north of Chicago) I have got to see one of these shows you go to, I have always wanted to try my hand at African Violets and see if I can grow them. I think they are beautiful but they are so delicate. Have a great and beautiful evening! ~Namaste

It is fun to experiment with unusual plants. The Flower and Garden Show is usually in March at Navy Pier. I use to grow African Violets years ago, but ended up giving them too much water or not enough of the right light. They are very picky plants.

I will have to see if I am ever there in March. I can take a shuttle from the hospital directly to Navy Pier since it is one of the big "tourist things" to do. When I come in by train I have a car that picks me up at Union station but when I fly I come into Milwaukee b/c its an about an hour's drive either way. It is cheaper and easier to fly into Milwaukee b/c O'Hare is such a mess. (to me at least) Yes African Violets are very very picky when it comes to water and light.

Hopefully, you will be able to attend the flower show. It will certainly be uplifting for you. After a long winter it is wonderful to see and smell all those great flowers and plants.
