The fruit is rape in lantern-like papery husk. It is very similar to the cape gooseberry and more tastes tomato/ pineapple like blend.


PLANTING INSTRUCTION: Sow seeds indoors in early spring in Jiffy 7 or in flats with inserts with a good soil substitute. Place seeds 1/4" deep. Germinate at 70F for about 14 days or until emerge. Transplant outdoors after all danger of frost is past. Space plants 20" apart.
