Yes! It filters Chlorine and Floride along with a number of other elements. It is approximately 3 times better at Filtering than the popular Brita system that many use now. It even comes with a device that lets you test your filtered zero water against other waters for purity. If you visit the ZeroWater website you can receive much more info. I love mine and my water tastes cleaner. I've added a comparison chart for you to the photos section. Hope that helps!

If you go to places like WalMart, Target, or Amazon they run about $13 each. I buy mine in bulk at SAMs for about $45 for a pack of four. They go on sale several times a year so prices fluctuate. They cost a bit more than Brita filters, but they are larger and filter more. Hope that helps!
