USA ERROR stamp: black & white barcode matrix on a "Mailbox" design Holiday APC stamp from 2012

--> These are extremely scarce. One had to be lucky enough to end up at an APC machine when it had the error (caused by USPS personnel setting the machine up with the wrong options). I had to drive for 40 minutes round-trip and spend $5 in gas just to get to this particular machine. No matter what I sell these for, it will barely be a breakeven proposition.

--> These color mailbox APC stamps were only available for a very short time during the 2012 Holiday season (approx. 60 days at most).

--> If you are a collector of specialized USA stamps & postage, then this is a must have for your collection. GIN of 9,000 is available (as long as no bids have been placed).

Condition: full self-adhesive gum on original backing paper, mint never hinged, includes the "VOID" label on the right, as dispensed by the APC machine. Please note that due to the nature of "thermally" printed stamps, there is some slight fading.

I have several of these stamps, all identical, the scan is representative of what you will receive.

Foreign shipments will be via regular (non-tracked) Airmail at $2.00 (via PayPal); foreign mail tracking is not available.
