FREE: Vintage Decoupage Wooden "Billie Ross" Purse

This is a vintage "Billie" Ross of the Palm Beaches wooden decoupage purse. It is from the 1960/1970s. It is decorated with strawberries and the box itself is an off white. The handle is an ivory color. The gold metal front closure works perfectly.

When you open the purse up, you’re in for a real surprise. The tufted lining & contrasting trim is done in red. The label reads: “Billie” Ross of the Palm Beaches. There is a 3” X 3” mirror at the top, which is trimmed in bright red, with a red felt flower in the lower right side. Purse sits on ball feet.

The approximate size is: 9” across, 5 ½” down & 5 ½” tall. The handle has a 4 ½” drop.


This is in very good condition for as old as it is. The only thing wrong with it is it is missing 2 little screws for the hinges. I have attached a picture of what is missing.

These are very hard to find - and go for between 100-200 dollars depending on where you buy them if you can even find them.
