lol, I didnt kill the chicken but that is how I buy my feathers. I believe the seller actually just strings them together in a tight sewn weave. It does not appear to be the actual skin of the wing, lol

And just so everyone knows, you do NOT receive the whole set of feathers shown in the pics. You get FIVE SINGLE feathers. I will pluck your choices from the set. I do not take my feather sets apart because that would be a huge mess in my craft bins!
