Succulent leaves form rosettes. Varied colors and forms add diversity to the landscape. Plant in well drained average or even poor to rocky soil. Great for rock gardens, ground covers, containers, stone crevices or other difficult sites. Very hardy- essentially takes care of itself. Take care not to over water - almost prefers to be dry and neglected. The "hen" is the main plant and the "chicks" are the offspring.
